What is the Unemployment Benefit

The Unemployment Insurance Fund (“UIF”) aims to help by providing unemployment insurance benefit payments to certain employees during their time of unemployment.
How does it work
- The UIF claim requires persons to meet five main necessities.
- The first is to gather all the essential documents. The period of unemployment must be for more than 14 days.
- An application for unemployment benefits must be made within 12 months.
- Termination of services due to resignation or abscond you are not entitled to benefits.
